Google’s Super Bowl 60 second spot Parisian Love was a huge success. So big that a few parodies were made (naturally). 
Now you can make your own. This week Google introduced a simple video creation tool that helps you make your own search story commercial. All you need to do is type in your Google searches, pick some music and - WHAMMY! - you’ve got your very own video! Here is Volacci’s very own search story commercial:

This Week in Drupal SEO News: The Drupal Rap Video, Yahoo! Search Apps, and Google Orders “Take-Out”

Spring is finally in the air, March Madness is crazier than ever, and Volacci is on a segway tour of downtown Austin today! Have you seen the Chimpanzee Riding a Segway video by Parry Gripp? If you haven’t had your morning coffee yet, there may be no need. There is nothing like a chimpanzee in overalls and a red helmet riding a segway to get you excited that its Friday! But I digress. There was some really cool news this week: Drupal 7.0 Alpha 3 came out, Bing rolled out some new search features, and all that other stuff in the title of this post. iPad + Wired Magazine = WIN (Video)

As most first world countries know, Apple released the iPad a few weeks ago to the loud and eager roar from brand enthusiasts. Still, there were many skeptics: "Will this match the success of the iPod or the iPhone?", "Is $500-800 too much?", "Am I selling my soul to Apple?"

Below is perhaps the best example of how the iPad creates a new user experience. The video shows how WIRED Magazine leverages their brand through the new technology. After watching this video, any skepticism you have may just wash away in a wave of calm enlightenment.

Google Buzz Video Trifecta

Yesterday’s Volacci blog post, The Buzz on Google Buzz, gave you the skinny on Google Buzz, and it’s relationship with Twitter and Facebook. There are lots in’s and out’s about Buzz, many heaving plates of information to digest, and it takes some time to soak it all in. In fact, I wasn’t even able to touch on how it integrates with mobile, Flickr, Picasa, and Google Reader. Hitler Discovers Drupal 7 May Release Without Panels

By now, you should be familiar with the popular “Hitler Meme” or “Hitler finds out” video meme involving the addition of new sub-titles to the dramatic scene of Hitler’s final meltdown from the German movie, Downfall, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel. The subtitles are altered with humorous English subtitles surrounding current events.

Below is the Hitler meme about Drupal 7, which has recently hit the Internet around the time Drupal 7 Alpha 1 was released for testing. This appears to be a compliment for the Open Source sensation reaching video meme parody status! Enjoy!

YouTube's Most Popular Search Terms for 2009

Online videos really came into their own this year, made apparent by the incredible popularity of YouTube’s platform of viral videos that inspire, entertain, and connect millions of people from around the world. Google came out with their official Most Watched lists and some of the fastest-rising search terms on YouTube.
