This Week in Drupal SEO News: Booster Shots for Drupal 7, Google Wave Gets Laid Off, and Introducing Google Tags

I have never once been tempted to steal hood ornaments, but this one sure does give rise to the nerd in me. How awesome would it be to have the hood ornament above, accompanied by a horn that blasted "these aren't the droids we're looking for" when some blue-tooth-wearing crazy driver cuts you off in rush hour traffic! But I digress.

DrupalCon Copenhagen will be here before you know it, so get your tickets if you haven't already. Rumor has it the price may go up soon... Please read on for more in This Week in Drupal SEO News.

This Week in Drupal SEO News: Drupal 7 Beta Release, Drupal Gardens Goes Open Beta, and Drupal's new iPhone App: Drupad

As you can see from the photo above, Volacci's DrupliPet found itself amongst a wide array of friends this week. Our eccentric and often times culturally-obscure Content Manager babysat DrupliPet on his desk, and exposed him to a slew of vinyl characters, action figures, and PEZ dispensers. Let's just say we lost a week of training with the DrupliPet... but I digress.

The Drupal community has certainly been busy this week: Drupal's iPhone App was released, Drupad, Drupal Gardens was released in open beta, and Dries gave an intriguing interview at the Open Source Convention in Portland, with remarks concerning the Drupal 7 beta and full releases. Join me after the jump for: This Week in Drupal SEO News.

This Week in Drupal SEO News: DrupalCon Copenhagen Initial Program, Drupal.org Redesign Deadline, and Life In A Day Experiment

If any ounce of your body is infected with "nerd" than you are aware that Comic-Con is currently underway at the San Diego Convention Center - conveniently where this photo was taken. What you are looking at is a trolley sign outside of the Comic-Con. Can't read it? Try busting out your Klingon Translator.

That's right, in order to avoid any unnecessary discrimination lawsuits and (inevitable) bloodshed, the trolley signs outside the center has been translated to Klingon. Not only am I proud to be a Trekkie right now, but very proud that nerds are rising up to certain level of awesomeness that can only be measured in light years.

But I digress. Good news for all you Drupal fans. Join me after the jump for DrupalCon Copenhagen sessions, news for the drupal.org redesign, and a experimental and historical video contest of sorts called "Life In A Day".

This Week in Drupal SEO News: DC Copenhagen Keynotes Announced, DrupalCamps Organizer Survey Results and Google’s App Inventor

Do you want to know why there is a lion in that photo? So do I. Maybe he is earning money to buy a ticket to DrupalCon Copenhagen. If I was a lion, that’s probably what I would do. Or I would just walk in. Because I’m a lion. What are you going to do, ask to see my badge?! I would probably eat your computer first. Then chew up your power cord so you had to rush to an Apple store. But I digress. (Did I ever progress?)

This Week in Drupal SEO News: Drupal Gardens Improves SEO, Mollom Module Makes History, and "Life in a Day" Experiment Launched

I hope everyone had a wonderful and patriotic 4th of July! It's been another eventful week in the world: A dynamite basketball trio takes Miami by storm, Spain and The Netherlands make it to their first World Cup Final, and the United States is conducting their first spy swap with Russia in decades. Now its back to business as (un)usual here at Volacci.

This week Drupal Gardens received yet another update, featuring some improved SEO features. The Mollom module was also very busy over the holiday weekend, and a very intriguing new cinematic experiment was officially launched this week. Join me after the jump for this week in Drupal SEO news.

This Week in Drupal SEO News: DCC Pre-Conference Training, Why the Pilot Program Deserves $1, and Google News Redesign

Happy 4th of July Weekend! One of my favorite smelling holidays of the year: burning charcoal, cooking meat, freshly cut grass, chlorine and sunscreen, ice cream and pie, melting ice... I’m fresh off a patriotic injection a la Landon Donovan, and feeling like fireworks should happen every single day. But maybe not this year.

The summer slammed the Northern Hemisphere and Hurricane Alex slammed the Texas coast this week. While it appears to have been just a good practice run for most of the coastal residents, we are still glad to get the rain here in Austin.

Join me after the jump for DrupalCon Copenhagen training sessions, why you need to give a dollar to the Pilot Program, and how Google is now delivering your news.

(taking a breath)

This Week in Drupal SEO News: Drupal Design Camp Boston 2010, Drupal Gardens Update, Google’s Mayday Release, and Commerce Searc

Do you have World Cup fever yet? Are you annoyed by the vuvuzellas? Are you reading this as the United States scorches the “jubalani” into the back of the ol’ onion sack against Slovenia? There is plenty of soccer to be enjoyed this summer and I hope you are able to catch it. But enough soccer talk.

As I head to Boston this weekend for Drupal Design Camp 2010, I wanted to share with you a few juicy stories that have come across the Volacci news desk.
