Demand for Drupal Developers On the Rise
CV Screen, an IT Recruitment Agency in the UK, has published a press release on the rise in demand for Drupal developers. According to the press release, the analysis of over 200 job advertisements shows that the average permanent salary offering is £36,353, or around $58,187 US. Demand for Drupal has risen significantly over Q3 in 2012, by over 15% compared to the previous quarter.
The press release also stated,
CV Screen’s Matthew Iveson commented on the findings “We are seeing more and more demand for Open Source technologies as organisations look to take advantage of their lower costs. Drupal Developers are certainly in demand and it is an area that we expect to see increased demand.”
Iveson continued “typically Drupal has been requested alongside PHP Development skills, but there are certainly more and more vacancies where the client is looking for a Drupal specialist.”
Iveson concluded “We are expecting to see demand for Drupal skills continue to rise over the next 12 months and this is likely to be reflected in salaries and contract rates following a similar pattern.”
