Notorious Spammer CAUGHT!
Twenty-seven year old Robert Alan Soloway was arrested yesterday and charged with mail fraud, wire fraud, e-mail fraud, aggravated identity theft and money laundering.
He has been described as one of the top 10 spammers in the world, and federal authorities are now saying that computer users across the Web could see a serious decline in the amount of junk e-mail they receive.
Soloway has been a long-term nuisance on the Internet — both in terms of the spam he sent, and the people he duped to use his spam service," organizers wrote on Spamhaus.org.
Although Soloway has been living a life of luxury over the past several years, he now faces decades in prison for his numerous offenses.
Today, we rejoice in the hopes that less spam will grace our junk folders! For more information on the Soloway story, click here.
