Call Tracking

We are frequently asked how businesses can track the amount of phone responses from online advertising. Traditionally, this information is captured by the individual answering the phone. Having your salespeople ask, "Where did you hear about us?" can disrupt the natural flow of the call and may result in imperfect and inconsistent data. For instance, the data may show that most calls came from Google traffic, but you would be unable to determine if that was from organic search or pay per click. Ideally you want to be able to track a phone call back to the exact campaign that produced the phone call—this enables you to optimize your spending for each ad.

Volacci now has a solution for capturing data on phone responses. Any ad or webpage is assigned a unique phone number that is forwarded to your existing lines. When the phone rings, the system will automatically know exactly which campaign produced that lead. Detailed information for each call is captured and stored indefinitely; at any time you can login to the system online and see the caller ID information, the campaign associated with the call, and the duration of the call. An additional benefit is the ability to record each communication, which is stored in the same online system.

All of this allows you to analyze the success of each campaign, and update or change ineffective campaigns. In short, your focus and budget will create campaigns with maximized ROI.

We are running a special through the end of the month for current clients. If you might be interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, call Josh Ward at (512) 633-2976 or email sales@volacci.com for more details.
