Just like websites of yore, Drupal uses a query string to pull information from a database. Every single blog post, comment, content, user entry, and so on is stored in tables on the server so you need a query string to go find the data and bring it back to the browser window. In a move expected by many and feared by Nomophobians, Apple announced that it is going to “power down” the Quattro mobile advertising network - a three-year old operation Apple acquired this past January.
